Thanks All for your imput, so what do you all think of the price i mentioned for the onan 12k with a 4 cyl cummins engine ($2000) even though i cant hear it run is it a goog price? Thanks for putting up with me. Randall

good price..."IF" it runs good...I don't think I would pay unless I heard it run & generate elec. tho..be advised,it will weigh as much as a Volkswagon

8KW is about all an average bus conversion needs, unless you're an entertainer with 5 roof AC running down the road. 2K is a good deal, but if either end doesn't work, that could double the cost. If both ends are junk, then its a boat anchor. I'd definitely want to see it run and put a meter on it.
