I replaced the injector seals on Sunday. After doing a few I decided to video the process. I had to edit out a lot of dead time to fit it on YouTube (100meg) so you'll see the video jump.

The seals I removed were very hard and some were cracked.
What is not shown in this video is me cleaning the carbon build-up off of the injector tip before I disassembled it. And I also checked every fuel line for damage.

I did a pressure test after all were done and there is no leaks. I will keep an eye on the oil for a while to make sure.

Nice job on the injector replacement. Wish I had more videos on how to: brake shoe replacement, air shocks replace, fuel pump priming etc.

Heard the click of the torque wrench and the dog barking, but no grunt when reassembling the injector. I enjoyed it. Joe.

In these days of technology it is easy to set up a video camera and document procedures like this.
I hope a few others will do similar videos and post them.
I plan on doing more.


I was glad to hear the click of the torque wrench on the video. The mic is pretty good on this camera.
