Reskinning the side of a mc-8 from the windows down 32". I coined this area as the banner panels. Any other alternative for fastening the sheeting and is there alternatives for material selection other then aluminum? I do not believe the is a player in the unitization of this buses structure. Your other option is fiberglass. Diamond State Coach conversion in Delaware is a supplier of this one-piece fiberglass method. The only down side of the one piece is hanging that long of material. You need the proper equipment to handle it. GR8NJT is having his MCI-9 done right now with this method 1 piece from the roofline to the bay doors. I can’t wait to see it complete. I would think just doing the signboard area would be easier. Some are using sika flex, instead of rivets. |
