FWIW it has gone fairly smoothly! On Friday last week the existing slab was cut out 12" deep for the footers and rebarb was placed side by side 5" apart about 5" off the ground. The inspector came out on Tuesday am and signed off on it. Wed. am the concrete came for the footers and it was poured and finished with the upright rebarb installed. Today the block was delivered early am along with the sand to mix the mortar. Cable contracting company finally came out to raise the cable/s going over the driveway because of the 9pm threat the night before of me cutting them if they didn't raise them. That has been going on for a month now! They DID show up at 8:30 am and temporarily raised them to 16'. No work being done today on building but tomorrow if it doesn't rain, the block will be started! Hooray! I have been taking some pictures also and will update them as soon as I find my up-load camera cable! Ace |

Thanks Pete but I'm sure I have the cable! It's just somewhere where I don't know exactly where since everything is kind of topsy turvy during the move! Ace |
