Wick's Aircraft Parts: www.wicksaircraft.com
Aircraft Spruce and Specialty Co.:www.aircraftspruce.com If you are working with non-structural areas, then any good hardware store can get 1/4 "pop" rivets, which do a pretty good job, but are pricey compared to driven rivets. BTW, those firms also have books on riveting, if you desire a little polishing up of your technique. Any one can squeeze the trigger on a rivet gun, but it takes a real master to be able to work a bucking bar correctly. Generaly, about a 250 rivet learning curve. Good Luck, and Cheers...JJ

JJ,
Thanks for the tip on finding a book. I've been looking for one. Can you recommend one in particular for a beginner? I searched the sites, but it was hard to tell which ones would be appropriate... would appreciate a reference if you have one.

thanks,
john

The EAA (Experimental Aircraft Ass'n.) has some fine how-to manuals for a neophyte, as well as the old pro.www.eaa.org It will take several, to cover your needs, just ask the sales people, since they are knowledgeable and won't sell you something you don't need, just to make buck. The manuals are inexpensive, and some have Q&A sections, since they are teaching type manuals. I think Golda Cox retired, and that's a shame, because she could quote item numbers for this type of thing, off the top of her head! Unfortunately, when I went full-time in the 4905 I disposed of many, so I can't remember titles. HTH- Cheers...JJ Now look what you've done- got me doing all this typing, and my popcorn has gotten all COLD!
