Hey, on another post, Hans recommended TranSynd ATF for my Allison HT740... so I had the fluid and filters replaced today. $400 @#$@ouch! Hope this tranny insurance policy pays off! What's your experience? Thanks, dg |

I have a friend that works for Allison, and he said plain old Dextron 111 is good enough for the 740. It's my understanding the TranSynd is more useful in the newer transmissions. Glenn Tallulah Falls, Ga. |

I changed my HT740 out myself to TranSynd and what a difference it made in the shifting. Smooth Smooth. |

I must say that the transynd is good stuff new or old trans . we have a large fleet and we do evaluat this stuff . When you see signifacant improvements in amount of miles a trans gets as well as cooler temps in the older trans thats gotta be good for any trans . What kills autotrans Heat , okay driver abuse too but heat is probably the biggest failure that trans has |
