Has anyone put the MCI air lock on a 4106 entrance door? How? |

Darrell, I’m curious, why would you want to do that? Does it pull it in tighter? I don’t know much about the MCI’s or how an air lock works. What happens when you don’t have the bus aired up? |

Laryn - The MCI air lock does, in fact, pull the heavy door in tighter to the body of the coach. (BTW, MCI doors are quite a bit heavier than a GMCs.) The air lock only works when the ignition is on and the door is closed. It releases when the ignition is off. Darrell - I don't know anyone who's added one to a GMC, but have often thought it's not a bad idea. Don't know if there's enough clearance in the wheelwell for the mechanism, but, as creative as busnuts are, I'm sure it could be done. FWIW & HTH. . .
