I'll be bringing my bus back from Boulder NV.to Southern Ca and would like to have some mechanical work done either in Nevada or on the way home,Does anyone know of a reasonable and good mechanic they could refer me too. Thank You ALL for the tremendous help you have been too me. RJmule | ||

RJ, there are 2 good 2 stroke men between Laughlin Nv and Needles Ca A&W # is 928-201-6244 ask for Marty, A&A #928-768-4311 ask for Andy both of them have been around for awhile you will know that when they tell you the 2 strokes are the best engine ever built (quote) i have had good luck with both and they don't charge a arm and leg | ||

I see you are in Laguna Hills. I just brought my MC8 home and I am in San Fernando Valley area - about 60 miles north of L.A. - That is not too far from Laguna. Anyway. Keep in touch. I was in serious need of an HONEST diesel mechanic when my bus was near Victorville,CA. It took me a LONG time and a lot of phone calls to find a good guy to work on my bus. I finally found one. He was a lifesaver for me. Honest, and highly knowledgable. Very resonable. He takes service calls and has roadside assistance and is in the Victorville - Hesperia area, or call him he will come to your bus. Highly recommend for overall troubleshooting, how to fix everything and get it on the road or generally moving. It took him one look and about 15 minutes to identify just about everything that was wrong with my bus. ROUTE 66 DIESEL Manuel 1-760-403-7421 Hope this helps everyone. Glad to see other numbers up here. It always helps to get a few in different areas. It's hard to find a good honest diesel mechanic. |
