hello to all i am looking at buying a 1970 silver eagle bus , is there anything that i should double check on in these silver eagles that maybe where problem areas,it is my first bus and i do love the style and the look of them,it has a 8VA-N71 detroit 4 speed tranny engine has 44,505 miles on a rebuilt , i am buying this over the phone so any help would be welcome i am 6.1 in height is there enough head room in side. cheers James |

that year Eagle is a pretty bodystyle,,, I'm kinda preduice on that...buying over the phone is not too good,,, if it is an entertainer... that probably means it has bunk beds on one side or the other, they are usualy kinda cheap homemade conversions, the Eagles had rust issues , suggest you talk to a man at Ok. jefferson bus in Ok city he can tell where the bus spent it's life if you get the serial number from the owner of the bus.... it depends 'where the bus peent it;s liiiife, if it was in the nothest.... they use salt on the roads, they use salt and they have rust issues ....... jefferson bus....800-818-93279327//// not sure about the phone number ,I have vision problems....... |

James, If you are 6'1" its gonna be real close on head room with you in the center of the coach unless the roof has been raised. It will have to be center isle. |
