Do you check the transmission fluid in a coach the same way as in a car... Park with engine running...in this case neutral??? I have an allison something, I have ordered the manuals they just haven't arrived yet. I took a trip down to Lakeland Fl. to get the BIGFOOTS man are these things sweet!!! I need to check the fluid but dont want to over fill!!! Please advise.

Yes, engine idling in neutral, preferably warm.

For example of warm: Drive over to the Flying J, get fuel, pull forward away from the pumps so the next guy can start fueling, check trans oil, pay and go.

Wear gloves to keep your hands clean!

Make the first quart you put in Lucas Oil for auto trannys. If you don't think it made a difference I will personally give you back your money.
