I am trying to cross a transmission filter The filter number I have is T171101. Can anyone cross this filter to a Baldwin or fleetguard or anything else.

What is the brand and is this an external filter and what is transmmision? Allison etc?

We called everyone...it is an allison HT740...It is an external spin on and has no name!!!

Hi Mr. Watkins,

The Baldwin filter number is a BT-359.

While you are looking around under your coach, measure the depth of your transmission oil pan. Allison made 4 1/2, 6, 7 & 8 1/2 inch pans for the HD-740. It's good to know when time comes to change out your fluid.

BTW, my 1984, MC-9, NJT has a 6 inch pan.

Bill,if the filter is about 5in around and 10in long with a 1&1/4in hole in the center i have 2 numbers i use on my Eagle with a 740 they are Napa#1623 and Lube finder#LFH4223

Thanks guys!!! I found the baldwin # to be a BT329. They then crossed that number to a WIX 51623.
Glenn, where did you get BT359??

Bill you can get the filter at Napa or use the numbers i gave you leave off the 5 and you have the Napa #1623

I got my filters from my friend who works for Williams Detroit in Atlanta. I just put one on about 3 weeks ago and have another for a spare.
