im working on a 4106 i just bought im going through the entire bus and im trying to find the best source for parts ive taken the defroster apart mostly and so far i can see it needs new flex hoses. blowers are making alot of bearing noise.and the fresh air flap is hinge is frozen with rust or should i pull it and replace with different heater/ defroster. also i would like to find some of the original trim that lines the steps i also need the rubber that goes between the 2 windsheilds e.t.c ive called a couple of places recommeded here but they wont call back to let me know if thay have the parts. i spent all day just trying to locate some 1/4 inch rivets that will match the original ones. any salvage yards that have the 4106s? any help i would grateful | ||

George - Have you called Luke at US Coach, Berlin NJ? 1-888-262-2434, M-F 9-6 Eastern. Great source of GMC parts, and if he doesn't have it, he usually knows where to get it. Mike's his parts guy, knows his stuff, too. Fair prices and same day shipping with plastic money, too! Luke's a strong supporter of the busnut community, moreso than some vendors, and the majority of those of us who frequent these boards encourage newbies to support Luke like he supports us. Also, it helps the vendors tremendously if you have a part number for them to research. For that, you need the parts book. Asking for a whachamacalit that goes between the dohickies on the front of a Gypsy Flier takes longer to decipher than saying you need a 3780981 trim ring.
