Is vinyl tubing fuel oil (diesel) resistant?

No, not really. It will take the fuel for a pretty long time, but it gets very brittle, and can break in time. It is fine for an occassionally used siphon hose.

Why not use something safe, like metal, or a synthetic rubber fuel line?

Any auto part store will sell a couple different sizes of fuel line.

Chuck and Scott,

Thanks. I'll visit the auto supply store.
