The rear suspeision in my 65 eagle is about done.I have one quote of $11,000.00 to rebild. Is there anyone out there that can help with people who do this ( is this price in line? ) or has anyone added air-bag helpers with any luck. I sure could use your help. thanx Fred |

Fred, That sounds quite high to me. I bought a 65 Eagle and junked it out. The rear torsion tubes look to be in pretty good shape. I bought the bus for the motor-trans package for a gospel group here. The adjustment on the bolts look like there was plenty of adjustment left. The gospel group now ownes them but will let them go reasonable. I do not have the bogies. Email me if you want more info. There is a way to put 05-10 tubes under there but I have never done it so I can't tell you how. The 05-10 tubes are stronger and will hold up more weight. Someone on these boards surely knows how.
