then you should check out this book: www.drivingthestars.com I just bought the book, and for anyone thinking about taking up this line of work, or anyone just curious as to how it works, its invaluable. the guys name is Neville Shende, and he drives profesionally for Pioneer Coach, so he has lots of good advice to offer and some cool stories to tell. just thought I'd point it out to anyone that might care.....fwiw

you mean drug testing? yeah, it does, but every job that requires you to have a CDL usually requires some form of drug testing.

Hey Captain, I'll volunteer for that job! (Weed eater on Willie's bus). Better than RoundUp. :-)

On a 96A3,Could one of you guys tell me how to replace a cable/spring
on my baggage door? Can you just buy a replacement cable,
and if so how do you get the hex plug out of the spring to insert the cable or do you have to buy a cable/spring assembly all in one?
Thank you for your help.

I have driven entertainer coaches for 15 years. I have enough stories to write a book, I just might do it right before I die because some of the stories are sure to get me killed.
It really isn't a bad job if you can stand to be away from home for months at a time. The money is great and there is a real demand for drivers so you can pick and choose the jobs you want.
The downside is you dont see much scenery at night and club sandwiches from room sevice get old.
I have slacked off a little bit on the driving and am doing some light bus repair for friends to keep from getting burned out to early in life.
Best,
Justin
