The Modern Marvels program on the History Channel at 7 PM EST today is titled "Buses." It is a rerun from about a year ago.

There were some interesting things I noticed. They showed the construction of the MCI Renaissance Coaches. Their side walls are made of a truss structure, the same technique as an Eagle or Prevost. It is not the traditional sandwich system MCI had used on the MC-8. I do not know when they changed

Another interesting item was on the LA city buses. They have 2400 coaches that put on about 100,000,000 miles a year. That divides out to about 42,000 per coach per year. That is only about half as many miles Greyhound puts on.

Thanks for the heads up George, I would have missed the show without your warning. Wished they would have spent more time on the MCI construction.

I would like to apologize for my husbands earlier message. He has been awake for over 24 hours hours. What he would like to know is: Did anyone record the show? And if so, how would we get a copy, if one is available. Thank you for your time.
