need to replace the shocks on my 04 ....question should i go with a regular shock at 50.00 ea or the go fast koni at 150.00 ea? |

I got mine at Mohawk, about 25.00 each, I am very happy with the ride. (GMC 4905) |

I don't like Koni's for street use, since they are usually far too harsh. Cheers...JJ |

I thought that Koni was adjustable. I have heard GREAT things about Bilstein but this was regarding an Eagle. I wouldn't consider anything that is not gas charged and decent quality. Talk to some shock experts and try to find out recomendations for jounce/rebound settings. I would think that on an air ride suspension you would need more rebound controll than jounce. The right shock can make a huge difference. -hth, Torquester |

I installed Bilsteins on my Apollo and they cured the body roll. It rode and handled a whole bunch better than with the old stock ones. Peter. |
