Good Day to everyone. Has anyone used the home design software you can purchase at Best Buy for designing the interior and electrical for a bus conversion. What software is the best? |

Bob - I use QuickCAD -- the "consumer" version of AutoCAD. I believe a few others use it as well, and, importantly, it does exchange files in some of the common formats (e.g., .dwg), so you can trade files with others. Seems to be the right combination of easy-to-use, yet powerful enough to do floor plans and electrical layouts. Costs about $50. hth, john |

Try download.com. You can usually get almost any software there and demo it before you buy. Scott |

Dennis, I like Scott's idea -- try and buy is best. But if it's not there, I got mine at either Best Buy or CompUSA, I can't remember which. But I've seen it around, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding it. john |
