Can anyone give me a good way of reattaching the trim pieces, I can see how they were attached originally but is there any better (easier) way?

Everything around the windows, espicially the top and bottom pieces. The side pieces of the window are pretty basic (screw in) but the top and bottom slide over the steel spacer and I figure there has got to be an easier way than replacing all of those spacers.

I removed all that and ground down the spacers for a cleaner look.>>>Dan
