I would recommend you get the largest that you can fit in. I never totally eliminated my overheating problems when I put an 8V92 in my 80 Eagle. And I did install a big, new radiator.

In addition to a new radiator, you might want to consider adding an auxillary transmission cooler. Although we did not change engines , our 8V71 with 740 tranmission runs about 10 degrees cooler since we added the auzillary transmission cooler. Hope this helps, Jack

Bob,the radiator for the 05 with a 8v92 needs to be 47in wide 40in tall and 6 rows of core that is what mine is with a 32in fan and it came from eagle in 1994 you will lose the battery box on that side because of the size of the radiator i have no cooling problems and have no extra cooler for the transmission if you can find a Mann transit bus they have the same radiator this is what Joe Larid used in his 05 with a 8v92 joe doesn't post on this board any more but does on the mak board sometimes good luck and do it right the first time and you will not have any problems
