I've had an air line separate from a fitting between the front airbags. The bus in it the garage and aired down. I can't get under it with a jack and can't move it on runup blocks. I am thinking of getting in the spare tire compartment and cutting access hole in the back to reconnect the fitting. It's a MCI 9. I wonder why this fitting would come loose? Could it of expanded and popped off. I will renew fittings it I can get at them. Thanks |

Nope, That's not the problem. Air is leaking from the bottom of the front brake valve. Has anyone removed and rebuilt this componet? The air will only build to 60 lbs and leaks from the bottom of this valve. It looks like a bugger to get off. |

Phil The safest way is to dig a hole under the bus to get at it if you can. Be careful. The brake components aren't very expensive to replace. You can get professionly rebuilt units for not much more then it cost you to do it. They are easy to replace for the most part. Your safety is worth more then saving a couple of bucks. My 2 cents worth. Bill |

Phil - Call for a tow truck and have 'em lift it enough to get a jack under the jack point. Then block the blasted thing well, and make sure it's secure before you crawl under it. Don't dig a hole, unless that's where you had already planned on being buried. |

Any way to add an auxialry temporary air supply with a portable compressor that along with the coach will overcome the leak at the front valve long enough to move it up on ramps? Also I don't know if you have a compartment under driver's seat that would enable you to temp disconnect line going from application valve at treadle to front brakes and plug till you move it. |

Hello Phil 1) get a jack that will fit under these conditions. It will be much the same problem with a flat front tire, and you'd be stuck again. 2) once in the air, block the suspension and trouble shooting becomes a safe adventure. Which brake valve? The brake pedal one, or something else under there? happy coaching! buswarrior |
