can anyone tell Me if a stewart warner tach 825 hz can be used on My mc7. Any other suggestions for a tach. Also noticed that My speedo is pulsing, is it mechanical or electric. Thanks John Lacey

I just replaced the speedo sensor on our hockey team's 102D3. It reads 4 bolts mounted on the back of the driver's side front brake drum. It was pulsing and jumping at first. I backed it off a little at a time per the service manual's instructions and is now fine.
The speedo on my Courier 96 pulses too. It is off the manual transmission. I can't see any adjustment there. I haven't had a chance to look at the speedo proper yet for adjustment. So I haven't solded that one yet.

I have a tach sensor on the bottom of my bell housing picking up the starter ring gear teeth. You can also run off the alternator.
