john, the switch can be under the dash by the parking brake or on the bottom of the foot valve if some one has redone the bus there is no telling were you will find it the switch is about a 1-1/2" around with 2 wires going to it most people just put another tee and a new switch in the brake line good luck |

On my 01 it is off the rearend, I think. I don't have a picture to show you though. I was changing the oil when I first bought my coach and noticed it there. I thought, what an odd place to put it. But I was just learning about this new toy I had. Happy Trails, Paul |

I have an Eagle 05. I believe it is a 1970, but it was retitled in '88. I had a similar problem but my brake lights were staying on. I finally discovered that the brake light switch (for my bus) was located in the tunnel which ran under the floor in the back of the bus, basically over the tag axle. I was able to get a new part from a comany in OK and once installed, that fixed the problem. The part was only $21 plus shipping. |

Manny, you don't need those stinkin' brakes! You need to put the pedal to the metal and keep up! LOL Just kidding with you! See you soon as we are still looking at those rally dates in August if you know what I mean! Ace |

John, My 01 brake light switch is at the air brake valve at the rear of the coach. Behind the rear bulkhead. I bet yours is there too. Dick |

locktech: Thanks, this helped a lot. I found a similar switch in the rear engine compartment, it looks a little different. I will put voltage to each side and see if the brake lights come on. thanks to everyone who helped I hope that it is not in the tunnel. jack |

If it is in the tunnel. it will be just forward about 1 ft. where the tunnel sloops down to the engine compt. and on the right hand side, UNDER ALL THE plumbing ETC. but I hope not. Good Luck and let us know on the Model 1 what you found and corrected. |

On mine it is in the tunnel, connected to the brake releaf valve. Almost not able to reach for a normal person. If you are going to pull a car and add extra lights make it work a slave relay and yo won't have any more problems with it. |
