How do the quick connect connectors come apart on my MC-9? Are they like farm equipment-- where you pull on one part and they separate? Is there a trick?

Thanks,
Guy

There are ring nuts on the fittings. If memory serves, they are 2.25" or maybe 2 1/8". Use an appropriate sized crows foot style wrench and they'll unscrew. Standard RH threads.
Once loosened, they'll spin off easily...minimal loss of PS fluid.
These fittings are at the bulkhead where the two PS flex hoses terminate.
They are similar to farm equipment in that they have checks in them to prevent fluid loss from the chassis. They are not Push-n-pull. Gotta unscrew them.

Thank you! That is what I needed to know. I will put my flame wrench away. :D
