I am a camping nascar nut myself. I love to cook outside or in. I am putting a site where recipies can be found to cook . Never do we arrive without a stop , as all do I am , sure at a grocery store to pack that rv,conversion, bus . Even if you have a horse pulling a grocery cart for the big eater you pack food , a must . We never arrive at our destination without this great fixins I am about to tell you of. .......Shrimp ,bacon, cheese, butter and seafood sause....Clean shrimp ,place spread out on a cookie sheet or biscuit tin . Cut 2 inch lengths of bacon and place on top of shrimp. Place in oven , or if on a grill , cover with foil, whereever you cook . When bacon is done to your liking take out . Drain bacon greese . Cut chunks of (HOOP) cheese and place on top of bacon. Only a sec cheese will melt. Dip in melted butter and favorite sea food sauce . Mine texas pete (no it is not hot) Now does that not water your sea food lovers mouths ? Fast and no mess . I have raced cars , sky dived ,scuba dived many things to my liking but kinda layed back now a bit. Not once have I ran accross any person that their nose does not rise when someone is cooking . If you have a fast dish you like to whip up on a trip post it . Here is a site for those cooks on the road . http://www.thecampingsource.com/Delicious_recipes.htm |

Ol I forgot my poor man's meal on a grill. hamburger, carrots, potatos, onions, butter, salt and pepper. In the old days tin foil, now you can find foil bags that close up. Clean and place all that stuff in this foil bag and throw on the gill . In no time a meal deal on a grill . Hummm , moma (wife) might think me crazy if I fire up the coach and grill in front yard at bed time you think ? ...... |
