Hi all - I've managed to forget my password to Busnuts here... and I tried to reset my password but the emails never seem to get delivered to me.
I tried making a new account, but that didn't work either. :-/

The password is stored in the computer here at work but I don't get the chance to use it much... and I'd love to be able to post and reply from home. Any ideas? My email is erston@gmail.com if that helps.

Thanks,

~ Erston

Why not use the same password that's in the office computer?

Hmmm... this is pretty weird...

Ok, so, Erston, you've actually tried to register 3 times... Blueerston, Erstonblue and, of course, just Erston.

Since the latter is the one you have indicated your email is attached to, I have sent an email to you with a new password that I have just made up now - and deleted your other two profiles. I never see your password, but I can reset it anytime. As my email will explain, you can go back into your profile and change it to something you'll remember both at home and at work.

Additionally, there is a "Find Password" routine available on this bulletin board which is found by clicking the "Edit Profile" link. That process still eludes some, so you can always just email me and I'll set you back up again.

Now, the weird part... when I did a lookup on your profile, I also got Silverstone's profile to view because, as you'll notice, Erston appears right in the middle of Silverstone. Clearly I have too much free time when these kinds of things pop up as significant to me, huh?

Enjoy :~)

Ian, thank you very much for changing my password! I tried multiple times using the "Forgotten password? Click here to restore access" link, but never received the emails that allow me to change the password. I tried registering as a new user a couple of times, but never got the confirmation emails for those as well. I thought it might a BNO vs Gmail thing, so I tried using my other email addresses... with no luck. I also tried emailing you (at the bossnut) email, but I guess that didn't get through either.

The work computer remembered the password, but wouldn't tell me what it was, even when I went sleuthing. Very frustrating.. but it's now all fixed, thanks!

Glad to be back!

Hmmmm...

"The work computer remembered the password, but wouldn't
tell me what it was, even when I went sleuthing. "

I have some password tools here. Feel free to download and
use 'em as needed. (running one on that work computer
would have revealed that password you were looking for)
