ok... beer break here.... i just remembered an old idea from my truck dealership days...... we had a checklist that we followed on all the furniture haulers lease trucks.... it was called "UVL".... stands for united van lines. i think.... every 6 months the lease trucks had to pas this checklist to stay leased on..... it was pretty extensive, you checked all systems.....measured pressures, etc.....looked it over really good.... the mechanics like it 'cause it paid a couple of hrs.....but it was thorough....it could be a good basis for a pre-purchase... or something an owner could use to keep his bus in god shape.... you could probaly contact a major truck dealership.. navistar, paccar....and see if they have a form..... |
