Well bought another coach! (MC7). Like if my 4106 is not enough for us.But my better half fell inlove with it, and the rest is history. Well at lease I have the sense to come to the right place for info. from the "PROS"
The MC7 has an air leak at one of the right rear bellows, I got the bus manual with the coach. But it touches very little on the bellows. All it says is, it is a rib rubber and it is bolted with special seal bolts. It's leaking were the two metal plates come together and though the bolts. Now my question is. Is their some kind of seal between the metal plates, and all I would have to do is to replace the bolts or do I have to replace the bellows, plate, bolts and every thing that goes with it, and where can I find the parts? All replies are deeply appreciated AL.

Did this recently on my MC5. Used silicone on end lip on bag to help seal at plate to prevent your problem. The plates were added later as original air bellows leaked. Parts are readily available from MCI. New bags are about $75. Replace if needed. I got mine at C&J Bus Repair in Bloominton,MN. Talk to J.D. Good Luck!

Here's a somewhat related problem.

After sitting since November, I fired up my MC9 this weekend to move it around in the driveway.

The left front side is not coming up like it normally would. The right side front side is up to normal height. The leveling valve is new and connected (as designed) to supply both the front sets of bags from a tee connection.

My first thought was some moisture frozen in the line but temps have risen to as high as 40 degrees which should have caused a thaw and the bags to equalize.

Tonight I will be removing the wheel so I can get to the system and do some more trouble shooting.

Could something be plugging the line? or, Is it possible for a shock or other suspension part to become frozen in the low (no air) position and prevent the side from comming up?

Any ideas will be apprieciated.

Thanks,
Steve
