About a month ago, I thought I had a bad fuel issue but it turned out to be something different. I lost power going down the road so I changed fuel filters and it went fine. I also treated the fuel at that time. The next time I tried to start it, it would'nt start and it ended up being the fuel shut off. It was sticking off and sometimes part way off. I pulled my bed and put WD 40 on the pivot point. I worked it about 300 times and now it springs back great. Enjoy the good life. |

Great to hear you found the problem.
I'm beginning to believe that I will always be chasing down little gremlins with my bus. Nothing big just little annoying things.
Just the other day my flashers started flashing irregularly. I thought probably bad ground, turned out to be a bulb. The one filament had burned out and then shorted to the other filament. Grounding through the other filament caused it to flash irregularly.

I would suggest that you lubricate that with something like slick 50 or marvel oil as WD40 is not a very good lubricant. |

J.C.B is right. WD40 will gum up after a while and could make it stick worse than before. WD40 was not intended to be a lubricant. It was meant to displace water and maybe to provide some instant temporary lubrication.
Marvel, or 3 in 1 oil would be my choice. plain 30wND motor oil does good too. |
