Just wanted to know if any of you nuts will be in Quartzite Arizona this winter. I have been doing alot of Internet research these past few days and am amazed at the amount of people that attend the shows and stay there for the winter. I realize that bus rallies take up most of your free time LOL but just thought i would check to see if this is something you folks attend, especially you Canuts. |

The place is full of RV'ers from Thanksgiving to Easter. Literally thousands and thousands of people dry camping everywhere. There are a few campgrounds with hookups, but most dry camp I believe. Richard |

There are over 55 RV Parks in Quartzsite with hookups. during the snowbird season it averages over 1 million people over the season Jan-Feb are the busiest month's BLM has 4 longterm area all dry camping with water and sewer available I believe it's 180.00 for 6 months stay. there are 5 short term area no hookups or water or sewer available free for 14 days check the BLM web site for curent info and for any changes. This will be my 14 yr there for the season I stay in a RV Park 900 per yr keep stuff there all year. |

My father-in-law lives there full time. I honestly can't see much to do there for more then 3-4 days a year. If you like the desert then I suppose it is OK but I really don't see the attraction. |

KEVIN, The jist i get from it is that when the weather is in the low teen's, for many it's a great place to warm up the bones. Although i am nearing the big 50 my bones ache whether its summer or winter. And since I lost my bus conversion location i am thinking of taking her out there for a few months and work on her while boondocking. RJmule |

Quartzsite news during the season from my checking there are over a average of 60 buses around in the BLM area's a lot of jaw flapping and help and ideas. Always a friendly bunch of folks at one rally this year I personally counted a 134 buses and I know I didn't see them all. Larry |
