Does anyone know of a scrap yard which has a Neoplan Cityliner or where a bus may be being parted out? |

Chris, Give Chappaqua Transportation, in Fishkill, NY a call -- 845-896-2012. Ask for Jim. Chappaqua runs a fleet of Cityliners. While they may or may not have either windows or a scrap coach lying around, if anyone knows where to find one, it will be Jim. Make sure you tell him it's German. Most of the Cityliners in the US were built in Lamar, and all Chappaqua's remaining coaches are, I think, US models. (They ran German ones for quite a while, though.) When I need serious work done by someone who knows Neoplans, Jim is the guy I call. If you give him my name, he'll either hang up on you, or treat you really well, I'm not sure which. HTH. -Sean http://OurOdyssey.BlogSpot.com p.s. If you ever find a boneyard, do let me know where it is. I'm always looking for parts. (Message edited by sean on August 14, 2007) |

Trust me, Russ and I are in constant communication regarding spares... In fact, we are en-route to him even as I type. Unless Hurricane Dean intervenes, which is looking more likely by the minute. -Sean http://OurOdyssey.BlogSpot.com |

Strait had a Lamar-built 45' Spaceliner. The upper glass is definitely not the same as your Cityliner. Justin -- send me your contact info. I'm sure the day will come when I will need one of those windshields. -Sean http://OurOdyssey.BlogSpot.com |

Sorry gang I have been away a few days. I wasn't sure if the Cityliner and Spaceliner glass was the same. We only had one Neoplan so I am not familiar with them. Sean, My cell number as well as E-mail address is in my profile. Feel free to call anytime. I really enjoy reading your blog each couple days. Best, Justin |
