I am needing to head to Miami from First of October until the Middle Of January. Anyone knowing of decent campgrounds affordable for bus parking?
I am going to be working all over Miami area. |

Hi Larry,
I have lived in South Florida all my life. Miami/Dade is definitely a big city which has areas that are not nice or even dangerous so I'd check out the Dade county locations before selecting one.
If I were going to be in & around Miami, I would camp at a place just to the North, in Broward County, like Markham park for a week or so, then check out the campgrounds in Dade County before comitting to be at one.

I am in markham Park now been here since last thur. very nice park and well patroled / even sheriff resident on site . Area is very nice and clean / close to lot of retaruants and afew good golf courses and lots of shopping malls and stores / also close to ocean and beaches / We are hooked up to full hookups and a pull thru site |

Thanks Syl... but 900.00 a month is little pricey for me.. Debating for a condo/sublet for $1000.00 per month, but would rather be something more affordable.
Linda/Kirby Thanks I have contacted on of the parks there and it is nice price but still needing to speak to someone there that handles reservations. No one I have spoken to knows availability for the park. |

Debating if it would not be cheaper to drive and sublet a apt?
Or I may have to stop by Mr. Hobe on a during sept and get my generator setup and make my bus self contained.. Currently it is setup to be a power post baby. Then I can park in the parking lots of the business's I will be working at. |
