We are planning on installing a retrofit ceiling in our Eagle, using .90 thick fiberglass panels attached to 1" wide stripping (1/2" thick) between which we will apply the 1/2" thick insul board. I want to use a very good adhesive to fasten the panels to the stripping that will allow me to minimize the use of fasteners, etc. I have seen you all speak so highly of Sikaflex, and have looked at the usual Lowes, HD, etc but have not found it (at least under that brand name). Can anyone give me info on where I can get it, or if there is another generic name, etc. Also your opinions on the application I plan to use it on. Thanks for the help.

you might want to give this stuff a try if you can find it at a local roofing supplier (not HD or lowes)I use a lot of it on my bus and it works great. around $8.00 a tube. http://www.bestmaterials.com/detail.aspx?ID=14958
