Wow for so long i tired to register on here and it finally worked!!! First Question: What oil filter would be used on a 1967 PD-4107? Spin on or cartrage? 2: What type of oil is acceptable to use in the 4 speed manual Spicer tranny? 3: ...... I guess i should make seperate threads for seperate topics | ||

Chris - Welcome aboard! Not sure of the filter numbers, they're in the bus. But you can use the same oil in the tranny that you use in the engine (CF-2, Straight 40wt, 1% or less sulfated ash content), altho some busnuts have used single weight synthetic with good results. What's the VIN on your 4107? FWIW & HTH. . .  | ||

The bus is an hour away and the place that has the filters is the opposite direction from where I am now :-( I can let you know my VIN this weekend Whats FWIW and HTH ? | ||

Unless an adapter has been added, it should have a cartridge-#6437275 should be the part number. Any NAPA can get it by crossing over the number, or any large auto parts store for that matter. | ||
