Well we left Phoenix last nite about 730 pm Temp was around 104 . Was headed to payson some 75 miles up a very steep grade, about 6% for what seemed like forever . Now just having the cooling system flushed and the Eagle sreviced I was pretty sure it would be a trouble free trip. What I didn't realize was how slow I would have to go up the hill. I was impressed with how this old Eagle pulled her fat butt up that hill. But with 338 gears and a four speed Auto we made it. Used my mister several times as the temp wanted to climb a bit past 190 ran her around 2300 rpms, Shifted down as needed . learned alot about this Bus and Iam sure I will learn a bunch more . Anyway just thought I would share Here in Show Low for a few Days then on to Montana
