I have been told that we are up to about 5-6 coaches for our second get together which is coming up in a couple of weeks in south Florida. Should be fun and relaxing without all the hoopla that usually goes on at rallies. Not that those are a bad things but sometimes you just need to get away and relax with some quiet time! You youngsters will find out soon enough!  Anyway, just wanted to update everyone that we are still on and again, anyone is invited and if your in the central or southern part of Florida and want to spend some time with some older gizzards, (geezers) sign on up and come on down! Packing the bus this week and leaving out Friday AM. Saw Jack & Paula Conrad on Saturday at a Bluegrass festival and it was a pleasure seeing them again. They are planning on being with us which makes for about 7 probables! Update on our works in progress is that I finally got a buddy seat installed for Susan, along with modifying the 2 original steps that go up into the LR. I made them wider and round instead of narrow and straight. I also made a hand rail just like in 2 story homes that goes straight starting at the outside wall behind the drivers seat over to the top of the steps. This hand rail sort of separates the driver from the home so to speak without building a wall! Hopefully when we return, we can do a fancy curved matching oak rail going down the steps as well that will attach to the straight rail we just put in! This 3 foot long hand rail took us all day today to master but it looks pretty good along with the steps and seat of course! Oh well, back to the rally! I had dinner with Manny and Darlene on Saturday evening after the festival and I know Manny has been working on a rally poem. He says it ain't a rally without one! Haven't a clue where he got that idea, but maybe I can talk him out of a copy so I can share it with everyone before we leave! Again... ANYONE is welcome to attend our little get-together whether you have a bus, MH, or tent (if the park allows them) and we even have a couple coming in just for the day so if that suits you, come on down! The weather has been just great with Dean blowing in some really nice tropical breezes during the days and evenings here in Central Florida so the heat is no excuse! Thanks Jack and Susan thanks you too and she really enjoyed rubbing it in if you remember what I told you! One day she soon she will regret rubbing it in so hard cause I'm gonna be right there too! Even Clint said so Monday night at my lesson! Sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye but since I was going to see this weekend, I figured what the heck! To be honest I was really not wanting to stray too far from my new mandolin! Anyway, were planning on leaving out sometime Friday am and meeting up with two other buses on the way and then the three of us are truckin' on in! See you then!
