i want to put a heat a/c unit in my eagle can anyone tell me how to put in a bay and how to duct it onto the duct work of the bus and what size gen do i need to run it or any info that would be helpful thanks gene |

Contact both the mfg of basement RV air cond and ask for a copy of instalation instructions from each. You will then have an idea which will fit better ( very similar but some differences), which will hook up easier and be better for your coach. House style "split Systems" are usually 240V so only can run in 10% of campsites , if that. Crusair has yacht style (and priced) split systems for 120V . There very nice , but on a coach not worth the difference from basements. FAST FRED |

you are much better off with roof units and ducting through the ceiling cool air falls and hot air rises.we,ve had to install roof units on coachs that had basement air because they did not cool well.mainly during travel. ive had them in one of my own coachs liked the look disapointed in peformance.the a/cs on top are ugly but they work well and dont require major changes |
