I must say that it seems like the number of posts has gone down in the past month?
My question is what is the difference between a 400hp 12.7L and a 500hp 12.7L? Can they be changed? |

The 60 series are the same, just different settings, contact your local DD shop, and they can set either one for the desired horsepower. |

Chuck,
The engine will need a few parts to be brought up to 500hp. First, it will have to be a DDEC III. The oil cooler,cam,injectors and turbo are different. You may also run into a problem with your local dealer changing the program to 500hp without the vehicle manufactors approval. Things aren't as simple as they once were... |
