That last one is the Bandag Bullet. It runs Bandag retreads and they use it to show the quality of their retreads.
When I was a kid, the predecessor of this truck came to my hometown in GA. They closed off Main Street and the guy did burnouts from one end of town to the other. After it was over, they swept up huge hills of rubber that was burnt off the tires... But they still held. I guess their demonstration worked. |
