I went to start my bus - a 4106 - and the buzzer doesn't come on. There is power to the switch (the middle terminal registers 12.58 volts). When I turn the switch to day there is no longer power to the middle terminal and no power to the post at the bottom of the compartmaent that comes from the start batteries. The head lights don't come on, the flasher ticks but the turn signals don't light. Where should I start looking for the short? Any thoughts would be appreciated, I was planning to go to the beach in North Carolina from Mass on Friday, oh well! |

Are you sure you have a short? Are you tripping the breakers? It sounds like an open or a poor connection to me. If you are running out of time, just rig up a few toggle switches and repair the rotary switch when you get back. If you think it is the switch you can take it apart and inspect it if you are careful and don’t loose the small stuff. |

After reading your post a little better, I would check the battery connections and work my way forward. |
