How much oil does my 8v71 hold. I want to change the oil soon.

It could be anywhere from 5 to 9 gal. They havelots of different size oil pans. More than likely 6 gal with change of filter. Best way fill to full mark on oil stick.

Dont forget to use the correct oil > Delo 100 30 wt

NO, NO, NO. Correct oil is 40 wt unless you are in extremely cold country.
