I think I might have found the jenny bus air in the Eagle . Its right above the driver seat in a boxed in area where the Tv and vcr is. There is a control box there with knobs and temp control. would it be worth fixing this and useing it, as my Dash air does not work. One other ? How can a person tell if he has 50 amp service. Now I have the obvious 50 amp cord and transfer switch , When I was messin around in the bus yesterday I have these two Fuse boxs . I removerd the lids and they say 30 amp in between them is the transfer switch, the the Elec panel, with the breakers for the kitchen and the roof airs 3 of them .I think maybe I will take a picture of them and post them on the Board . I think I can do that Andy

If you have true 50 amp it is actually 2 separate legs of 50 providing a total of 100 amp.

2 fuse boxes could be one for each of those legs or more commonly the things powered by the inverter are often in there own, smaller, box in relation to the main.

Andy,
I'm going to call the electric police and report you for breaking Ohm's law! Either that or your post isn't clear? Do you fish? (The big one got away?) Or do you mean you run all of them off a gen, or a 50 amp shore line, I hope.
Show us the pics, and we'll be glad to help.
George

Andy we too have a 2000 watt inverter, Heart 24 volt and it has its own fuse box for all the things wired to it. Not really big enough IMHO even if you are not interested in running A/C off of it.

For instance you can't run two big draws together, like the toaster and the micro or the curling iron and the toaster but it works good otherwise.

The 4-stage 40 amp charger kicks butt though.

I picked up a spare 1200/12 volt from pep-boys for 99 bucks for a back up and hard wired it. It is enough for the entertainment center, the ice maker and an outlet, in a pinch. I ran off of it before we got the Heart repaired and just left it in for back-up.
