I need 2 air wiper motors for my bus. I will rebuild if necessary. Mine are both beyond repair.

thanks.

I tried several years ago to find kits or new air motors for my '59 '04. I was not successful. I suggest you find a way to convert to modern "pantograph arm" wipers like you find on most later buses. Those parts are still available. I do know that some tinkering will be needed on a 4104 as there is a vertical angle support right where the newer style motor assembly would normally go. I took my measurements of placement from a 4905 I owned.

Tekebird, what age would the peterbuilt or kenworth have to be to have the same air wipers?
Inquiring minds need to know.

forget. My Mechanic is the type that can track these sort of things down.

best bet go into a Peterbuilt or Kenwrth shop and check the stop and start points vs what you have.

I would guess that they were the last trucks that used air wipers.

maybe miearly 90's

You could probably look at the trucks & tell. A 4104 has the wiper pivot point located outboard & the wipers park almost horizontally like a car versus the later models that have the pivot centered & park vertically in the center.
