I'm thinking it would be nice to have a fresh air vent with a screen and a door in the front of the bus. Air would come in from under the dash. If I got some forced fresh air around me, some days would be more comfortable driving, especially into the sun. Anybody ever done that. The bus is a 4106. |

Steve, Don't know about the 4106 but the 4104 has just that. The vent is under the GMC sign at center front and is operated by a 1/2" bent handle just to the left of the hand throttle. Look in your operator's manual if you have one. |

I put an air vent in the front of my 4108 GMC back in 1991 and it worked great. Plenty of air for the passenger and driver. Steve: Call me at 1-207-667-5892 and I will send you a diagram of the setup. I believe that I got the idea from the first issue of Bus Conversion back in 1991. |

the 4106 has the same setup as described by gus when i got my bus i had to remove the defroster housing out from under the dash as the flap that allows out side air in was frozen up. the air intake is under the moulding that goes across the front of the bus its right in the center |
