You could check out boat wipers. I used a single motor with a cross linkage, got the motor out of a wreaked OTR truck |

How often do you drive in the rain? Does that make it worth the cost and effort to replace the air driven units with electric? The air wipers are simple mechanical devices that need an occasional rebuilding to add some new grease. Just pumping some heavy oil into the air line feeding them can make a world of difference. Take the unit out of the coach and lay it on a clean bench to open it up. Take great care opening it to prevent things from falling out. As soon as you have access to the drive shaft that comes out of the case, mark the position of the drive shaft on the ring gear that it fits into. On mine, there are twelve ways it can go on. I think only one is right. The rest is straight forward. Rebuilt air wipers are available. George Myers |
