I have an 8v71 in Port Hope, Michigan that I need to get to San Diego, California. Anyone have any suggestions for me? It is currently strapped on to a 4x4 pallet. Does anyone know approximately what this would weigh? Thanks in advance. |

Depending on what is on the engine , exhaust manifolds , blower , tranny adapters ect 2200 lbs would be a ball park. FAST FRED |

FF, It is a complete engine. Alt, Air compressor, starter, exhaust manifold, etc. Used to have a 740 behind it and still has the flexplate. How much would this add to the 2200 lb. estimate? Thanks, Jojo |

My 8v71 with accessories and cradle along with the manual tranny made a spaghetti pile out of a Chinese 4000 lb engine hoist. Jeff |
