I have an 8v71 in Port Hope, Michigan that I need to get to San Diego, California. Anyone have any suggestions for me? It is currently strapped on to a 4x4 pallet.

Does anyone know approximately what this would weigh?

Thanks in advance.

Depending on what is on the engine , exhaust manifolds , blower , tranny adapters ect 2200 lbs would be a ball park.

FF,

It is a complete engine. Alt, Air compressor, starter, exhaust manifold, etc. Used to have a 740 behind it and still has the flexplate. How much would this add to the 2200 lb. estimate?

Thanks,

Jojo

My 8v71 with accessories and cradle along with the manual tranny made a spaghetti pile out of a Chinese 4000 lb engine hoist.
