OK, as time goes by we expect things to malfunction a little, don't we. My RTSII windshield wiper air motor for the right side is not operating well, it moves to the outside of the windshield and stops. Is it worth rebuilding the air motor, are parts available or Is it a better choice to replacie with an electric wiper motor, do they make direct replacement wiper motors for RTSII? Any help or info would be appreciated, thanks in advance - cd |

Mohawk Mfg.and Supply have the kits to rebuild them for less then ten bucks, or take it apart and get new O-rings at the local auto parts store. It's an easy re-build. Cheers...JJ |

IN addition to being very cheap to overhaul the air has a big advantage over electric. IF you freeze the 12V jobs to the windshield the motor will either pop a fuse , or burn out. DC motors don't like to get stalled, air motors couldn't care a whit. Try spraying some WD40 into your old air wiper motor , and see if it doesnt come back to life. If it does get the rebuild kit , save $700, and have a safer coach in the freezing slush . FAST FRED |

Alright, I went to the Mohawk site but can't find anything there. Are you sure they even sell rebuild parts? Perhaps I am not patient enough but I did'nt see where you could buy much of anything there. Not a great web site. Any other places? cd |

Why don't you look up a truck wrecking yard. You can have either air or electric motors for a song and there's literally hundreds to choose from Gary Stadler |

Mohawk has a telephone , and some very understanding and nice folks that will help. If you have the # from your parts book it more posative that you get the correct parts. But they really try to help, even if you have nothing but a verbal description. LUKE at 1-888-COACH 34 is the same & probably can spend more time on the phone. FAST FRED |
