I will be removing my fuel tank to check for leakage. The supports below the plywood are in poor condition and will need replacing. Anyone have suggestions on what materials to use? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

dennis, I have used pressure treated plywood on a lot of under=carriage work with good results. you may get and put 2 layers together to compensate for the thickness. about supports, I have used just strapping from a salvage yard and when needed just weld together if necessary. avoid bolts as they may rub a hole in the tank, and all the do is keep the tank secure.

that all folks
