Just thought I would try this busnut thing. I have got my MC-4 done structurally. In the next couple months we will be installing a 6v92 and a HT740. I really enjoy the exchange of info. I am sure I will need more. 1963 MC-4

Nathan
Does the MC4 have a dropbox? If not, there may not be enough room to install a 740. Welcome to the nutty world of bussing.
Joe.

Yes, it does have a dropbox. The MC-4 is very simular to an MC-5. It has the same windshieds, side glass, body, etc. Everything I have researched says it will fit with some modifications.(shorter drive shaft, turbo rearrangement, trans cooler etc.)I am sure it will be a 5 minute job. I have already finger printed most of this old girl. I love the looks of these old coaches. Thanks for the info.
