I installed my 13kw genset in the front bay of my eagle 10 and have a nifty pocket to install up to a 50 gallon tank next to the genset box. I am worried about weight on the front axle. This setup will weigh about 1100lbs in the front bay when full of fuel. Am I pushing the weight over the limit? Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks, David Anderson |

David, I have an Eagle model 01 and on the drivers side I have in the first bay a central a/c unit. The next bay back I have a 12.5 diesel generator. The next bay is open all theway across and the next by back is where my batteries are. On the curb side The first bay is empty. The second bay is the one that goes all the way across. The third bay holds the 10 gal hot water heater, 55 gal fresh and 30 gal grey water tanks along with filters and pumps. The 4th bay has the 140 gal fuel tank and the 55 gal black tank. Back on the very butt end where the origianal a/c was, is the second central a/c unit. The bus sits very level and rides like a dream. I wouldn't worry about it, just go for it! They are much tougher than they are given credit for! Hope this shines a little light! |
